SAMSARAは昨日まで台湾にいましたが、昨晩から香港にきています。香港はイギリスの植民地時代の名残なのか、結構クリスマス・スピリットが高くて風流があるんですよ♪

The past few days have been so hectic so it feels strange that it's already Christmas Eve...! We've been in Taipei until yesterday, but now we're in Hong Kong. Spending Christmas in HK is actually quite nice with all the decorative lights around the city♡

先日ちらっとSNSには書きましたが、今年の６月に続いて今月も母校のインターで特別授業を行いました！

（インターナショナルスクールは６月に１年が終わり、８月から新学期になります。）

今回は１年生に【いろんな生き物と生態系、環境、食物連鎖について】と２年生に【海洋生物と水質汚染について】と、それぞれのカリキュラムに沿ったプレゼンをしました。もちろんテーマに合わせた絶滅危惧種の話もしました◎

This June we gave a presentation at our international school, and earlier this month we were invited back for more presentations!

We gave 2 presentations this time; about "various animals, habitats, food chains" to 1st Grade and about "marine life and water pollution" to 2nd Grade. Of course, we talked about endangered species related to each theme!

みなさんはどうでしたか？

これからの将来を担う子達がこんな若い頃からちゃんと大切なことについて興味を示して学んでくれている姿に感動しました！質疑応答の時間も的を射た質問がいくつかあり、逆にわたしたちも考えさせられたり…。わたしたちが絶滅危惧種や環境問題について教えましたが、子供達から教わることもまたありとても新鮮な時間でした♪ありがとう！

I really don't think we learned about such sophisticated topic when we were this age...! 

It's great seeing these girls show so much interest at such a young age. We got a lot of good questions too at the end! We shared our knowledge with them, they shared their enthusiasm in return and it was truly a great gift to us :)
