SAMSARAのことを最初から知ってる方は知っていると思いますが、

２０１６年から約１年半、カンボジアでブランド構想を練ったり立ち上げの準備をしていました。

というのもプノンペンにある工場とご縁があり一緒にお仕事させてもらえることに…！

Those of you who've known us since the beginning would know that for almost 1 and a half years we were based in Phnom Penh, preparing for the launch of our brand!

We had connections to a garment factory in Phnom Penh, hence our move.

そして数日前からサンプルチェックのために再びプノンペンに来ています！

拠点を日本に移してからは去年の冬に行ったきりほぼ１年ぶり。とにかくインフラの発展が早いプノンペン、今回もいろいろとびっくりさせられました笑

そして今日からカンボジアはウォーターフェスティバル！！

プノンペンでは21~23日、シェムリアップでは21~22日にボートレースも行われてお祭り騒ぎ。工場もこの数日間はホリデーなのでSAMSARAは３度目のシェムリアップへ✈︎

We've actually been back in Phnom Penh again since the 15th to follow up on our samples for the upcoming collection!

Since moving back to Tokyo, the last time we were back here was last December, so it's been almost 1 year. Phnom Penh has surprised us numerous times with their fast development of infrastructure, and didn't fail to surprise us again this time...!

From today until 23rd (22nd for Siem Reap) people will celebrate Water Festival in Phnom Penh!

Our factory will be on vacation until 25th so we decided to come to Siem Reap and visit a wildlife conservation centre near the temples.

今まで工事中で仮設風だった国内線ターミナルはすっかり綺麗でモダンな感じに…。

ゲート近くのカフェでカンボジアコーヒーをゲット。ベトナムコーヒーみたいに濃ゆい＋ものすごい甘さ！

ちなみにプノンペン空港は全体を去年？一昨年？あたりから少しずつ改装していて、わたしたちが初めて降り立った２０１６年は空港の外（駐車場エリア）は砂利道でほこりまみれ、交通整理もゼロでした…。

が！今回は綺麗に舗装されて駐車券の券売機みたいなのもできてなんだかモダンに進化していました笑

Phnom Penh Airport's domestic terminal was under construction, but today it was our first time using the brand new terminal.

Spacious, clean, modern... nothing like the previous terminal XD!!

We got Cambodian coffee to go; tasted like a sweeter version of Vietnamese coffee!
